Everything you need to know before visiting Natori Head Spa.
1. What is a Japanese Head Spa?
A Japanese Head Spa is a wellness treatment that combines steam, scalp care, cleansing, massage and relaxation. Depending on the treatment you choose, your experience may also , conditioning and additional massage.
It's designed to care for your scalp and hair while giving you time to completely switch off and unwind.
2. Where are you located?
Our treatment room is located within Fierce Hairdressing, 6 Maypole Street, Wombourne, WV5 9JG.
3. Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking is available at the rear of the salon, accessed via Planks Lane, WV5 9HE.
There is also plenty of free parking in and around Wombourne village square.
4. Who is a Head Spa not suitable for?
Unfortunately, I am unable to treat clients who are:
• Pregnant
• Wearing hair extensions
• Under 16 years old
• Have had recent piercings or tattoos in the treatment area
• Have had recent cosmetic procedures
• Experiencing an active scalp flare-up, such as psoriasis, eczema or dermatitis
Clients aged 16-18 require parental consent.
If you have psoriasis, eczema or dermatitis but aren't currently experiencing a flare-up, I may still be able to treat you. Please get in touch before booking.
Other health or medical conditions may also prevent treatment. If you're unsure, please contact me before booking.
5. Should I wash my hair before my appointment?
No. Please arrive with dry hair and avoid applying heavy styling products where possible.
I'll take care of everything during your appointment.
6. Should I book after having my hair coloured or chemically treated?
I recommend booking your Head Spa before your next colour appointment rather than afterwards.
The treatment may cause colour to fade slightly or could irritate the scalp if you've recently had a colouring or chemical treatment.
7. Can I wear makeup?
I recommend arriving without makeup, as the steam used during the treatment may cause it to smudge or come off.
However, if you'd prefer to wear makeup, that's absolutely fine.
8. Will my hair be styled afterwards?
Your hair will be rough dried before you leave.
At the moment, I don't offer styling, as the focus of the treatment is scalp health, wellbeing and relaxation.
9. What should I wear?
Some treatments include a neck and shoulder massage, while longer treatments may also include a leg and foot massage.
I recommend wearing something loose and comfortable so you can relax and enjoy your treatment.
10. Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes. Gift vouchers are available for any treatment or amount.
They make a lovely gift for birthdays, special occasions or simply treating someone to some time to relax and unwind.
11. What is your cancellation policy?
I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
